Whether you’re buying your first home, moving, or remortgaging, here’s what to expect when you work with us. Our service is completely free. Lenders pay us a commission when your mortgage completes.
Before your first call
You don’t need everything sorted before you speak to us. But having a rough idea of the following will help your advisor give you a clearer picture early on.
Your income and employment
A rough idea of your annual income and how you’re employed — permanent, self-employed, contract, or other.
Your deposit
How much you have available, and whether any of it is a gift from family. Deposit size affects which lenders and rates may be available to you.
What you’re looking for
A general idea of the type of property, the area, and your budget. You don’t need to have found a property yet — many people speak to us first.
The process, step by step
Every mortgage journey is different, but this is the typical path from first conversation through to getting the keys.
Talk to your advisor
We’ll chat about your situation, assess your affordability, and give you a clear idea of what you could borrow — usually within 48 hours.
We find you a mortgage
We search across lenders to find options that suit your circumstances and explain how they compare — so you can make an informed decision.
Application through to offer
We handle the paperwork, chase the lender, and keep you updated through valuation to your formal mortgage offer and completion.
